Acoustic diffusers
Acoustic diffusers (types YAD and YAZ) combine static pressure recovery and sound reduction into a single unit. Designed for all types of comfort and industrial ventilation systems, they deliver uniform, low-noise airflows and are available for all sizes of NOVENCO's NovAx™ and ZerAx® axial fans.
The YAD acoustic diffuser has a round outer shape, while the YAZ is octagonal; both feature a conical perforated inner tube.
Versions are available with or without a silencing core to handle high-frequency or standard sound attenuation. The YAD fits all sizes of NovAx and ZerAx axial fans, while the YAZ is available exclusively for the Ø1800 fan size.
- Temperature range: –40 to +120 °C.
- Standard corrosion category: C3.

Designed for noise reduction and static pressure recovery in axial fan systems.
- YAD: Compatible with all NovAx and ZerAx fan diameters
- YAZ: For fan size Ø1800
- Casings (YAD and YAZ) are made from galvanized steel.
- Acoustic insulation is stone wool with a fiberglass protection layer.
- Standard corrosion protection is Category C3 per EN/ISO 12944-2.
- Acid-resistant (stainless) steel materials are optionally available.
- YAD: With or without core for different attenuation performance.
- YAZ: Without core for standard attenuation.
- YAD: All NovAx and ZerAx axial fan sizes
- YAZ: Fan size Ø1800 only
