The ARC-AUC series provides height-saving reversible (ARC) and unidirectional (AUC) tunnel fans with long silencers, designed for aggressive road and rail environments. They serve a dual function, ensuring both normal ventilation and certified smoke extraction as part of the fire safety system. 

Utilizing a space-saving rectangular design based on the NovAx™ platform of axial flow fans, these models achieve an installation height reduced by approximately 20% compared to standard round fans, which is a significant advantage where technical space is limited.

ARC-AUC height-saving tunnel jet fans are dual-function tunnel fans built on the reliable NovAx™ axial flow platform, suitable for both normal ventilation and certified smoke extraction in classes F200, F300, and F400. Available in reversible (ARC) and unidirectional (AUC) versions, their rectangular, height-saving design reduces overall installation height and increases flexibility in confined tunnel spaces.

The series includes three impeller diameters Ø 630, Ø 710, and Ø 800 mm, featuring long silencers of 1350 mm. The installation height is only 40 mm more than the fan impeller diameter. Wire guards and deflectors are available as fan accessories. Also available in the standard round NovAx versions (AUR/ARR) up to Ø 1600 mm.

Certifications
  • F200, F300 and F400 smoke extract approvals in accordance with the EN 12101-3:2015.
  • Ff300 fans have been tested at 300°C during 2h.
Performance
  • Standard operating temperature range from –20 to +40 °C.
  • Measured thrust ranging from 350 to 960 Newtons (N) with motor powers from 11kW up to 40 kW.

  • Ø800 mm (installation height 840 mm)
Fan casing materials & corrosion categories
  • Hot-dip galvanised sheet steel or stainless steel.
  • Corrosion categories C3, optional C4 or C5 in accordance with EN/ISO 12944-2.
