Silencers
The YAH/YAA silencers are cylindrical sound attenuators designed for comfort and industrial ventilation systems.
They feature round connection profiles and come in models with or without a core.
Models with a core offer enhanced reduction of high-frequency sound.
The YAH and YAA silencers are designed for direct mounting on the fan and operate reliably within a temperature range from −40 to +120 °C.
Tested as smoke fan accessories up to 400°C during 2 hours. They come with a round connection profile and are available either with or without a core, depending on the required sound-attenuation level.
The silencers are made from galvanised steel. Optional execution in acid-resistant (stainless) steel.
- Standard version in galvanized steel with category C3 corrosion protection per EN/ISO 12944-2.
- Optional acid-resistant (stainless) steel execution for protection up to category C5.
- Acoustic performance of cylindrical silencers without core is good at mid-to-high frequencies (above 500 Hz) for general fan noise.
- The acoustic performance of silencers with core is excellent, especially at high frequencies.
- The versions with core have a slightly higher pressure drop.
Available for fan or duct diameters from Ø250 to Ø1600 mm.
- Hot-dip galvanised sheet steel or acid-resistant (stainless) steel.
- Standard corrosion category C3 (acc. EN/ISO 12944-2).
With or without core for different attenuation performance.
Available for all fan sizes up to Ø1600 mm.
